First Communion, Baptism, and Confirmation Invitations or Announcements {Free} (2024)

I’m so excited for this little project that I’ve been working on recently — free downloads of First Communion, Baptism, and Confirmation invitations (or announcements)! Honestly, it started as a project for free First Communion invitations, but then I made a couple that were specifically Baptism invitations as well. And then, when I finished them up, I realized that some were also perfect as Confirmation invitations or announcements.

Yes, that’s right — these First Communion invitations are available for free to download and personalize! Well, for the most part, anyway, but I’ll get to that.

You see, I really liked a few graphics that I saw and wanted to make some First Communion invitations/announcements with them too. But, the agreement for me to purchase the graphics is that I can’t give them away (or sell them) as a blank invitation.

So, for those options, I have the option that if you love them, you can pay me $15.00 and give me the information that you want on the invitation/announcement. I’ll create it and send you a .jpg or .pdf file (your choice) for you to have printed. Likewise, if you want one of the free ones, but you just don’t feel like doing the personalizing yourself, I can do those for $15.00 too.

How to Download and Use Your Free First Communion Invitations

Just scroll down, find the card that you like best, and click the download link. It will come up with a .jpg file. Just right click to save the file to your computer.

You will then need some type of software that will allow you to add words to a jpg file. Some examples: Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, Corel Paintshop Pro, PrintMaster, Gimp (free), Paint (found in “Accessories” of many computers), and any other program or software that will allow you to add text to a jpg file.

Edited to add: A newer method for adding text would be to download the invitation and then use PicMonkey or Canva (both free!) to add text to the invitation. Then, save your invitation at the highest resolution that they offer.

Like I already mentioned, if you love the invitations, but this particular part of it worries you, you can hire me to add your text to the announcement or invitation, even if it’s one of the free ones. After I customize it for you, I’ll just email the file directly to you.

How to Get Your First Communion Invitations Printed

Once you have your customized invitation (or announcement) ready, you can have them printed as photographs wherever you like having your photographs developed. Although I usually use a professional photo lab, I would suggest online sites like Winkflash (which even has a sign up bonus) or Shutterfly (also has a sign up bonus).

If this part also freaks you out, you can contact me for a quote as to how much it would cost for me to get them printed through my professional lab and send them (with envelopes) to you.

Limitations to Using These First Communion Invitations

Please remember that I have taken my time to share these with you for free. (Well, except for those ones that I wasn’t allowed to, but even those are inexpensive.) I even decided not to put my web address anywhere on them because I just didn’t want to mark them up like that.

Because of all this, these invitations/announcements are available for personal use only. You may not sell them or redistribute them (even for free) in anyway. You also may not claim them as your own creation.

If you think people would like them, then you just need to send them here to download them (feel free to share the post via Pinterest, Facebook, and Twitter well — there are social media buttons at the end of this post). Using these for anything other than personal use is not only illegal and breaking copyright law, but it’s just not nice. Thanks so much!
